The 2017 Mazda CX-9 Aces MotorWeek’s Long Term Test

As one of the newest models in the brand’s portfolio, many are still getting to know their 2017 Mazda CX-9, or are deciding whether or not this all-new SUV is worth their time. According to Motorweek, it not only makes a great first impression, but one that holds up over thousands of odometer miles.

Like other recently redesigned Mazda models, the CX-9 offers style and appointments well beyond its mainstream price tag. These include intelligent all-wheel drive, an exterior design with no shortage of curb appeal, and premium furnishings like leather and rosewood on the highest trim. MotorWeek found that all of these fittings held up rather well in the long-term—particularly the small-but-mighty turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood. As an added bonus, the staff loved this SUV so much that it rarely sat idle on the lot.
