The 2024 Mazda CX-5 has eight trims:

Its non-turbo trims have a 187-horsepower engine, while its turbo trims have a turbocharged, 256-horsepower one. Both engines pair with standard i-ACTIV AWD® and a six-speed automatic transmission.

Interior

The 2.5 S Preferred trim of the 2024 Mazda CX-5 is the first with a power moonroof, power liftgate, and leather upholstery. The 2.5 S Premium Plus model adds ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel.

The 2.5 S Carbon Edition model stands out with a black instrument panel, matching door trim, and red stitching on the steering wheel and gear selector.

Technology

Every trim of the 2024 Mazda CX-5 has a 10.25-inch infotainment display, and a rotary knob and physical volume knob control its functionality. Alternatively, you can use buttons on the steering wheel or voice commands.

All trims have standard Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay, with an available wireless phone charger. The Carbon Edition model is the first with a 10-speaker standard Bose® audio system.

Safety

Similar to other new Mazda models, the 2024 Mazda CX-5 has standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, which stops your vehicle if it detects an imminent frontal collision. Adaptive cruise control maintains your following distance and speed at your chosen presets.
