The Same Great Performance, Remastered

The 2025 Mazda CX-5 delivered up to 256 horsepower with its turbocharged engine, and the 2026 model carries over this popular SKYACTIV®-G powertrain. The familiar 2.5 S engine returns for 2026, easily adapting to different driving styles and shifting smoothly between driving modes. While an electrified powertrain alternative is in the works for the Mazda CX-5, it is not projected to be released until 2027.

Roomier and More Refined

Thanks to a wider and longer body, the new Mazda CX-5 offers more passenger and cargo space than its predecessor. Second-row legroom and overall interior volume have increased, giving the cabin a more open and accommodating feel.
